Gingles, LLC is committed to contributing time  and resources to help sustain and improve the  Maryland communities in which we do  business on behalf of our clients. For over  twenty years, we have served in various  capacities for many diverse local organizations. This has included our work for over 10 years  helping to improve the lives of area students  with emotional disabilities through our  financial support and volunteer service for The  Foundation Schools - which provides a highly  specialized educational and therapeutic  program that prepares students to be  productive and successful in their future  academic and career paths. We have also  shared our passion for the outdoors and kids’  recreational programs via financial support  and volunteer service with Prince George’s  County Youth Golf Foundation, Rockbridge  Academy’s Athletic Programs, Laurel Boys &  Girls Club, and numerous other youth sports  programs throughout the area. Founder,  André Gingles and his wife Colette were  honored in 2012 with a Civic Leadership Award  from the Community Foundation for Prince  George’s County in recognition for the many  ways they serve in their community.   In addition to other charitable endeavors, Mr.  Gingles serves as a Director of Old Line Bank, a community bank headquartered in Prince  George’s County and is Vice President of the  Police Foundation of Prince George’s County,  which supports the operations and work of the  Prince George’s County Police Department in  their expanding efforts to make Prince  George’s among the safest comunities in which  to live, work, and raise a family.
In 2015, Gingles, LLC relocated its offices to the  Konterra Headquarters Building on Sweitzer  Lane in Laurel, which features the Konterra  Solar Microgrid, one of the nation’s first  commercial scale solar grid-interactive battery  storage systems. The project consists of a  402.3kW solar canopy, a 300kwh commercial  scale back-up battery system, and two electric  vehicle charging stations with infrastructure  for four additional stations. This innovative  clean energy generation technology produces  515,790kWh annually and offers new benefits  such as battery back-up against grid outages,  which provides solar powered energy for  critical loads. We share Konterra’s commitment to environmental stewardship and are pleased  to call this state-of-the-art site our new home.
